SHQ(-) remains Nui Dat. 1 and 4 Troops continue rest and maintenance ,with 1 Troop on ready reaction and on call to support 2 RAR / NZ. 2 Troop continues to support 2 RAR / NZ in AO Judy. 3 Troop continues to support 7 RAR in AO Naomi with night ambush in vicinity Route 328.

 

16 October 1970

SHQ (-) remains at Nui Dat. 1 Troop deployed to relieve 2 Troop in support 2 RAR / NZ  in AO Judy. 2 Troop returned to Nui Dat. 3 Troop protected deployment of 161 Bty 4 Fd Regt and remained as FSB protection. 4 Troop continued rest and maintenance and assumed ready reaction tasks.

SHQ(-)Remains Nui Dat. 1 Troop continued to support 2 RAR / NZ in AO Judy and LCT protection. 2 Troop deployed as protective element for ARV recovery of unservicable  CS 1 (main engine). 3 Troop continued protection task at FSB Bruiser and in support of 7 RAR. 4 Troop R&C (4 Troop to RTU early am 21 Oct for deployment against suspected 274 position)

 

21 October 1970

SHQ(-)Remains Nui Dat. 1 Troop continued support 2 RAR / NZ in AO Judy and LCT protection.2 Troop returned to Nui Dat on completion of recovery CS1 and repair to ARV.3 Troop provided protection at FSB Scobie, remains in support of 7 RAR in AO Naomi. 4 Troop assaulted suspect position of 274 Regt with no results or observations. (5000m straight line in 8 hours) Assault and approach through heavy virgin jungle. A mixture of bamboo and rainforest with small patches of savannah.

 

23 October 1970

SHQ(-) Remains Nui Dat. 1 Troop continued to support 2 RAR / NZ in AO Judy and LCT protection. 2 Troop deployed to support 2 RAR / NZ in vicinity Route 15 AO Judy – ambushes against suspected VC resupply parties from Thi Thien. 3 Troop provided protection at FSB Scobie. 4 Troop continued support of A Coy 2 RAR / NZ as company searched area of suspected VC 274 Regt camp.

 

24 October 1970

SHQ (-)Remains Nui Dat. 1Troop continued to support 2 RAR / NZ in AO Judy and LCT protection. 2 Troop continued to support 2 RAR / NZ against suspect VC resupply parties from Thai Thien with ambushes. 3 Troop provided protection at FSB Scobie. 4 Troop returned to Nui Dat and  assumed ready reaction task.
